| WARRANTY and CONSUMER INFORMATION | |||

| In addition to your consumer rights, COMPUTER TRADER Computer Systems include a full parts & labour return-to-base hardware warranty - new systems 24 months, reconditioned systems 3 months. Proof of purchase to be supplied by the customer. | |||
| Software related warranty work is limited to reinstating the operating system and other software as originally supplied. Operator error including malware infection is not an equipment fault and is not covered by equipment warranty. User support and/or data recovery is available at prevailing labour rates. | |||
| Warranty covers return-to-base labour and parts. On-site labour is available in the greater Hobart area but is not included in warranty cover. Prevailing labour rates apply. | |||

| Warranty is for the period of time specified by the manufacturer of the goods, generally 12 months unless otherwise specified. Proof of purchase to be supplied by the customer. | |||
| For items purchased from Computer Trader we will co-ordinate warranty claims with the manufacturer or distributor. | |||
| Warranty extends to repair or replacement only. Assistance with diagnosis and /or re-installation is available, prevailing labour rates apply. | |||
| HARDWARE COMPONENTS (PARTS ONLY) | |||
| Warranty on parts is for the period of time specified by the manufacturer of the goods, generally 12 months unless otherwise specified. | |||
| Goods to be replaced under warranty must be undamaged. Proof of purchase to be supplied by the customer. | |||
| If proof of purchase cannot be supplied then warranty may be deemed to commence from the date of manufacture, or the warranty ID sticker if present. | |||
| Warranty on parts covers repair or replacement of the item only - diagnosis, removal and refitting, data recovery or configuration work is available at prevailing labour rates. | |||
| 7 DAY RETURN POLICY | |||
| Peace of mind 7 day return policy - as long as goods are returned within 7 days in 'new' condition and in original packaging, we will replace, exchange or refund. (except software, consumables, printers and specially ordered items). This is in addition to your consumer entitlements. | |||
| CANCELLATION | |||
| Product orders may be cancelled with the exception of specially ordered items. Services can be cancelled prior to commencement. Services which have already been carried out in accordance with your request cannot be cancelled. | |||
